Meet Our Performers

There are many reasons why I was inspired to become a flowartist. However, the one that is the most special is the fact that Poi saved me from a dark time. It gave me a space to embrace my inner self in a way that I couldn't normally during that time. Also, I get to light this stuff on fire. How amazing is that πŸ”₯😈 I see myself in the next five years growing this collective to the point that all of us can quit our day jobs and just do what we love. With that, i also have a huge drive to help the other members on this collective grow as much as they can during these coming years. I also see myself mastering spinning two dragons at once. I hope my audience experiences a sense of embracing the inner child that we all have forgotten in the fast-paced lives we all live. When I light my props on fire, I get to embrace that inner child immediately. The second they light. I hope that by sharing this freedom of self expression other will also embrace that inner child they may have forgotten. πŸ™ I would like to learn a lot of logistical skills such as marketing and networking. I'm still working on those skills, and I'm excited to learn more. I would also like to master double dragon and buuegang.πŸ’ͺ My favorite thing about the fire that I play with is that it demands so much presence that you have no other option but to forget your troubles and only focus on the flame. I believe that the thing that makes me unique as a performer is my personality that shows throw my movement. I have fun with it, and I think everyone who experiences that can feel it also. It is important as a performer to have fun. Otherwise, it's not a performance. 🀷

In 2017, I was handed my first dragon staff, and something inside of me just clicked. It was a flow I had always been craving, but I didn't know I was missing. I didn't know it then, but eventually, that flow became an outlet for me to connect so deeply with myself. In 5 years from now, I see me and my tribe traveling around the world performing for high-end clients and creating shows of our own! I hope that when people see me perform, it wakes something up inside of them. That the thing their soul has been screaming for they finally take the chance on it. I also hope you can see how connected to myself my body and my breath I am and that, that inspires people to think, "Oh wow, I can do my version of that too." I really want to get into the world of aerial performance... Maybe Lyra or pole on Fire? 😈πŸ”₯ other than that, Buugeng and rope dart are currently on my radar I love how present it makes me. My breath is my #1 focus, and everything else moves from that. Whenever I mess up, I always slow down and think, "Where is your breath?" I also love all of the amazing people I get to meet by sharing something so special to me I think I have my own unique style and so many different personalities within that. Sometimes, I'm a spitfire, or slooooow and sensual, or extremely playful or devious. I just really love what I do, and my personality definitely shines through with every performance. I also am consistently pushing myself to grow

I was inspired to become a performer/flow artist by a passion for self-expression, creativity, and the joy of connecting with others through movement and art. It allows me to express myself freely and bring energy and emotion to those who watch.πŸ™ In five years, I see myself as a confident and versatile performer, consistently growing my skills and taking on more challenging roles. I want to continue refining my craft and creating meaningful work that reflects my passion and dedication to performance.πŸ’ͺ I hope my audience feels inspired, entertained, and emotionally connected to the performance. I want them to walk away with a deeper appreciation of fire I hope to share my love of fire and performance with each person I meet. I'd like to share with people that fire is dangerous but also beautiful and transformative. One of my favorite things about fire and performing with it has always been the way it moves and how you can lose yourself in the movement of the flame. Every time, it's unique, and each performance is different because of it. What makes me unique as a fire performer is the combination of precision and creativity I bring to every show. I fuse technical skills with personal flair, creating a captivating experience that blends danger, and beauty. πŸ™Œ

Some of my main inspirations are self-expression, community building, and finding the meditation flow state. The mental focus required (especially in rhythmic arts like poi or staff spinning) can be almost trance-like, offering a break from daily stress.πŸ™ In five years, I see myself still progressing and learning new things whenever possible. While impacting the community in a positive way. I hope that my audience is reminded about the magic and mystery this world holds and decides to learn what’s inside. My favorite thing about the fire I play with is the opportunity it provides me to live an alternate life full of performance arts. 😈 What makes me unique as a performer is my style and staff spinning. Also, the character that comes alive while I perform.
